Our new team driver Robert Gustafsson debutes his XB8 ride with a TQ and comfortable win!
The technical challenging track was re-designed right before the race and some new jumps and sections where added. All in all it created some 40 second laptimes for most racers.

In the first 1/2 final Robert Gustafsson (TQ) was feeling some hard competition on the first lap when he got pushed around in one corner and on the following quadrupel-jump was crashed into from behind. His mechanic fixed the car though in 2+ minutes - he had to catch up big time to make the main final.

But Robert managed to get up to fourth place overtaking in an "shock" comeback - his "teammate" Niklas Edlund who did a once-only comeback in off-road. Niklas qualified 7:th and finished 11:th. Robert managed to catch up some 3-4 laps and made the final anyway!

The final was cut down to 30 minutes due to coldness and lack of sun-time. Robert was leading the final from the very first second and stretched his lead and win to about 2 laps. Making it a perfect start with his new ride.
